Today, Johannesburg’s suburbs are the product of urban sprawl and are divided into north, south, east, and west, each with different characteristics. Nevertheless, what they have in common is the presence of man made mountains that have the potential to be the network that connects all neighborhoods and provides the infrastructure to create a more dense city.
