Siyakhana Garden

112 Observatory Ave, De Westshof

Siyakhana Garden is the first urban community farm in Joharnnerburg. It is located in Bezuidenhout Park, so hard to access from the housing complex. The informal market could be installed on the access road through the park’s site, by using wide open place.
There is a greenhouse for nursery on the main entrance and farmlands are arranged in the west and south based on the greenhouse. Fruits and vegetables are stored in the huts located everywhere in the farm, and the hut located in front of the market is used as a community center.
A housing complex is located to the south. Inside the fence, there is a wide outdoor space that can accommodate various facilities such as private houses, parking lots, and swimming pools.
